While at the NDSC convention I met a beautiful young lady named Carina. She came to my booth multiple times. While they already owned the Signing Time collection, they had loaned one of the DVD's to another family and Carina felt she just had to replace it. Her mom Kim told her she would need to be good during he convention and earn it. Later on, she came up to me holding a piece of paper. She had written me a note including a picture of us. Carina has great reading and writing skills, as you can see from the photo. I made her a little angel zipper pull and wrote a note back. She must have been a good girl as she was able to come back to get the DVD. What a great memory from a great conference.
All set up at the NDSC convention in Phoenix. Having a blast meeting families and talking about Signing Time. So many of these parents have stopped by to thank me for being here and sharing Sharing Signing Time with the families. I love seeing all the parents advocating for the use of sign. One Mom came up and said, "is this that sign language program wth the great videos where you can't help but learn to sign when you watch them?" What a great way to describe the signing time program. Signing Time really does make it easy to learn sign language. In the brand new Extraordinary Earth, Rachel and her TreeSchooler friends learn about:

Both shows feature ASL signs. Signing Time completely focuses on signing. And since research shows that signing can help preschool children learn and remember new concepts, it was natural to include a handful of ASL signs in TreeSchoolers, too!
